Fire Fighting and Radiation Awareness

Firefighting Training provides employees with the techniques required to handle a fire in a safe and correct manner. Employees will learn the various ways to extinguish a fire (water, foam, carbon dioxide, and dry chemical powder), care and maintenance of fire equipment, types of fire attacks, and emergency plan basics. As each project is different, during the employee’s orientation to the project and camp the firefighting procedures will be explained. There will be a walk around the site to show the individual where the firefighting equipment is and to explain it proper use.

Radiation awareness training cover such topics as understanding radiation, health effects of exposure to radiation, controlling exposure to radiation, and radiation protection regulations.
